369 completed a full apartment renovation and interior fit-out in Bloubergstrand, transforming a dated, underutilised unit into a modern, high-performing Airbnb asset.

Originally, the apartment featured outdated finishes, poor lighting, and inefficient use of space, limiting both its visual appeal and rental potential. The brief was to completely reposition the property for the short-term rental market — focusing on durability, functionality, and strong visual impact.

The renovation introduced a clean, contemporary design language, combining neutral tones, warm timber finishes, and integrated LED lighting to create a welcoming, premium feel. A custom-built media wall with concealed lighting anchors the living space, while the open-plan layout was refined to improve flow and maximise perceived space.

The kitchen was fully upgraded with new cabinetry, integrated appliances, and improved storage, delivering a streamlined, user-friendly layout suited to short-stay guests. Bathrooms were modernised with walk-in showers, floating vanities, and layered lighting to elevate the overall experience.

Throughout the apartment, bespoke joinery and lighting details were used to enhance both aesthetics and functionality, ensuring the space remains practical while maintaining a high-end finish.

All key elements were manufactured and installed in-house by 369, ensuring consistent quality, tight project control, and efficient turnaround.

The result is a complete repositioning of the asset — from a tired, entry-level apartment to a design-led Airbnb product optimised for guest experience, higher nightly rates, and improved occupancy.
